The luxury Kenyan design label Kooroo is well known for its exquisite women’s wear, often incorporating vibrant silks. These silk scarves, with a wool backing, began as a way to make the most of silk offcuts.
The initial exclusive and limited edition proved so popular that Kooroo started to specially source the silk and wool. Each scarf is then put together by Kooroo founder and designer Hebret Lakew.
While no longer made from offcuts, Hebret ensures that each scarf is unique and that no more than three scarfs have the same combinations of silk and wool.
